"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

I don’t pretend that I know anything but I do know this about English: Its easy-beautiful and really easy to copy even if your an bad writer or not.
Even a sentence like "The tears of mine, infused with pain.
Tears in the air, Swirling with a glare..."
Could count as... good or even something with a quality in it. That’s why I strongly reject English in the first place.
But I do recognise the difficulties with the communication if you don’t use English in Deviantart. Just wanted to point that out so no one else have to.
Lets continue:
Lets say you would write one of your poems in Swedish or why not In Russian you would encounter a f****ig brickwall because of the complexity in the sound and rhythms in these languages - and of course the grammars.
Though your an excellent writer, to say at least, if your first language isn’t English you should NOT write too much in it if that’s the case - because it can damage the development in your own language, but to say at least its good to have English as a contrast to your own native language.
If English really is your primary language then just do your wonderful writing - because its really stuns me by the quality in it.
I truly wish that this... kind-of-jackass-quality of my note don’t offend you because this isn’t intended as an personal attack but as an advice from a writer to another.
What does that even mean? First you tell me that if English isn't my first language then I shouldn't write in it, then you say if it is my first language then I should keep writting in it because it's quality work? English IS my first languge, so, that is why I write in it. Thanks for your concern.
